The power bank market is flooded with options ranging from $10 to $200+. Most of the specs on the box are designed to confuse you into thinking you need the most expensive option. This guide tells you what actually matters and what's just marketing noise.

Understanding Capacity (mAh)

Milliamp-hours (mAh) measures how much energy a power bank stores. But here's the catch: you never get the full rated capacity in practice.

A 10,000mAh power bank delivers roughly 6,000-7,000mAh of usable charge due to energy lost as heat during voltage conversion. So when we say "2-3 phone charges," we're accounting for this real-world loss.
